If food is one of your passions in life, it’s well worth looking for international culinary experiences to add to your bucket list. As trying new foods while you’re overseas is one of life’s greatest pleasures. To discover 3 amazing culinary travel experiences simply continue reading.

Enjoy a meal at a Michelin star restaurant

Every foodie should treat themselves to a meal at a Michelin star restaurant at least once. Although you may have to make a reservation for your desired Michelin star restaurant several months or years in advance, the experience will be well worth the wait. As Michelin stars are only awarded to the most prestigious restaurants in the world. If you love the idea of traveling to France to sample delicious fare from a Michelin star restaurant you’ll be spoilt for choice as France currently boasts over 27 Michelin star restaurants. Some popular examples of which include La Maison Troisgros, Le Cinq and Epicure.

If you save up for your trip well in advance, you may want to make several advanced booking to attend sittings at multiple Michelin star restaurants. For a food focused trip that you’ll be unlikely to forget in a hurry. As you’ll be able to sample culinary delights that you won’t be able to sample anywhere else in the world.

Visit an Asian market to experience authentic local street food

If you are a fan of Asian cuisine, it’s well worth visiting an authentic food market in an Asian destination which is known for its traditional dishes such as Thailand and Hong Kong. One of the bonuses of visiting a local food market, is that many stall owners prepare dishes using family recipes which have been passed down from one generation to the next. As a result even if you try the same dish from two different stalls, you’ll notice a distinct difference between your dishes.

For a fun experience, it’s also well worth attending a night market, where you’ll get to explore streets full of food stalls and bright lanterns and neon lights. If you’re feeling particularly brave you’ll be able to try snacks and dishes that you can’t try at home such as fried insects. Although if fried insects aren’t your taste you’ll be able to sample delicious dumplings, pork buns and fried ice cream instead.

Stay at a cooking school in Tuscany, Italy

If Italian food is one of your favorite cuisines, it’s an excellent idea to book a week’s accomodation at a home stay which doubles as an Italian cooking school. The only one that does not require custom essay writing to pass, maybe. As your hosts will be able to teach you handy Italian cooking tips and techniques, which will allow to recreate authentic Italian dishes at home. One bonus of staying at a cooking school in Tuscany as that you’ll get to enjoy social meals with your fellow cooking students after you’ve prepared your food.

So if you like the idea of being able to create mouth watering pastas and risottos from home and spending a week in Italy with like minded foodies, definitely start researching cooking schools in Tuscany.

So if food is one of your greatest pleasures and you’re a self professed travel addict, it’s well worth completing all three of the brilliant travel culinary experiences which are listed above!
